Hi my name is Christina Keane. I provide 1-1 Life Coaching and Heal Your Life workshops. I am passionate about helping people to make positive changes in their lives and create the life they want . Too often we are revolving doing the same old things over and over without taking time out to reflect on what we really want and without the awareness and knowledge that we have the power to create what we want in our lives. I attended a 2 Day Heal Your Life workshop in 2019 in the Eileen Clair Holistic Centre in Clare. I loved the materials presented and knew immediately that I wanted to share them with others. For many years I had struggled with a lack of self-esteem always comparing myself negatively to others. I also felt I lacked a sense of direction and fulfilment, however until I attending this workshop and became familiar with Louise's work, I did not know how to change this. I now had the tools to change my relationship with myself, and to make the positive changes in my life that I yearned for. You might ask yourself how changing your thinking could possibly change your life. We habitually think the same thoughts over and over again, having approx. 70, 000 thoughts a day. If the majority of our thoughts are negative then we are creating a very negative life for ourselves. Our thoughts come from our beliefs which are held in our subconscious or unconscious mind, these are mostly developed at a very young age, by approx. 8 years. So if you grew up with a belief for example that “I’m stupid, I can’t learn”, maybe you were comparing yourself to a sibling who excelled at everything,then you may find that you constantly find yourself thinking negative though about yourself when you are challenged by something new. One of Louise’s philosophies is: “What you believe about yourself comes true for you” and you will unconsciously look for examples to support this belief. Now when you are aware that it is the belief that “I’m stupid” is driving your thoughts then you can decide to change it. You could replace it with for example “I am always learning, I am cable of learning, I am clever, I am bright” Can you see how much better you would feel when this is the thought that you allow yourself to think? You now need to learn what ever new information or task is challenging you but from such a different place. Your ability to learn is so much more positive, you are being kind and supportive to yourself….
